As members of the DFAQ we have one thing in common … we LOVE to paint !   and like anything, painting with friends is more fun than doing it alone which is why we get together on the first Saturday of every month to do just that. 

Our venue is the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, 1644 Logan Road, Mt Gravatt, Queensland and we alternate between a Brush-in-a-Rush Day one month and a Paint Plan Parlez (PPP) Day the following month – please see our Calendar for details.

To whet your appetite further, we have a Library of painting books & patterns to inspire, a quarterly newsletter filled with informative snippets, Brush-in-a-Rush worshops by talented art Teachers, an Annual Paint-In Convention offering a vast range of styles to try, and last but not least, we exhibit at the Craft & Quilt Fair, Brisbane and other Community Shows not only to promote folk art and decorative painting, but also to tell people about our Memory Box Program.
